This is an incident happened with me when I used to conduct tuitions for earning some pocket money when I was doing my college studies. After college hours I had free time when I used to conduct tutions, as there was no facility for taking tuitions at my house, I used to go to the respective student’s house to take the tuitions. When this incident happened, I was having tuitions of two students- a boy Vishal who was in 8th Std and a girl Rani who was in 3rd Std. After finishing the tuitions at Vishal’s house I used to go to the Rani’s house for taking her tuitions. The incident took place at the Rani’s house. I talked regarding the tuition fees and the timing with Mr. Jay Kumar - Rani’s father. As I was talking with him a lady around the age of 30 came with a glass of water. She smiled at me and offered me a glass of water. I also smiled back at her. The lady was a little fat but she had a beautiful face and good figure. I knew she was Rani’s mother. Jay Kumar told me that Rani was weak in English. She had problem in reading & speaking English. I had to teach her English. The problem was that nobody knew English except her father. But he had not time to look after his daughter’s studies. Archana (Rani’s mother) could teach her Marathi, as it was their mother tongue and Hindi but she couldn’t understand English, so he thought of giving her some special coaching for English. That’s how he called me. When I asked how he came to know of me, he replied that Vishal’s father had referred me to him. We agreed upon the fees and the timing was set at 8 o’clock at night because the girl used to reach home at 6 in the evening from school. The regular tuition started. We were given a separate room for study. I came to know that the girl was a slow learner but I tried my level best to make her learn & understand the matter.
